Unfortunately we are unable to receive repeat medication requests over the telephone or through the triage phone system.
We require two full working days before your prescription is ready for collection, this includes any private prescriptions. It is not always possible to issue an emergency supply of medication at short notice.
All patients receiving regular prescriptions will be given a computer printout of their repeat medication unless their medication is managed by the surgery or chosen pharmacy. To obtain a repeat prescription (this includes any medication that you have previously been prescribed but may not have been added to your repeat):
- Firstly, please ensure you are not due for a medication review with the doctor or nurse before making your request (notice of reviews required will be printed on the repeat side of your prescription sheet).
- Send us your repeat request by mail, fax : (01673 844388) or by posting your request in the external surgery postbox or the designated repeat box located inside the surgery.
- If your repeat slip is not available, please write your name, date of birth and your request on a sheet of paper and post as above.
- You can also request medication via the online ordering system - SystmOnline. If you do not have an online login and you are unable to create one please speak to reception.
Please note we operate the following prescribing policy: – all prescriptions are issued for 28 days only.
