If you had any pathology sample taken (blood, urine, swabs etc.) results are normally sent back to the practice within 2 weeks. If you have been sent for any other investigations e.g. x-rays, scans etc, results can take between 2-6 weeks dependant on demand at the hospital you attended for the investigation.
Please be aware that only requests sent by the GP will be received back at the practice If you are under the care of a consultant and they have requested investigations, the results will go back to the requesting Consultant and you will need to contact the department to obtain results.
